Parkopedia is a website that helps drivers to find and compare commercial, street and private parking on their computer or a mobile phone. Parkopedia also helps drivers by displaying parking information about a selected area and other useful tips that are submitted and shared by its users.
What does the name Parkopedia mean?
The name parkopedia is a combination of the words parking and encyclopedia (think Wikipedia... but for parking!)
How do I use Parkopedia to find parking?
Using the search bar at the top of the page, you can enter either an address, a zip code, a city or the name of a place.
On the search results page, you will see a list of the parking spaces that match your request along with a map showing their location.
Can I use Parkopedia while on the go?
Does Parkopedia manage any car parks?
No, we do not manage any car parks. We simply help drivers find and compare commercial, street and private parking on their computer or a mobile phone.
How do I book a car park?
Please click on the 'Book now' link. If there is no 'Book now' link, we currently cannot provide bookings at the selected location.
What is the difference between public and private parking?
Private parking is provided by individuals who rent out their garages and driveways.
How do I list/rent out my private parking space?
Please use the Add Space button on the map to list your driveway, garage or private car parking space on Parkopedia.
What does the distance column show?
The distance column displays walking distance from your chosen destination to a parking location.
